  • After 21 years with IBM, Mr. Glendinning joined Lenovo in 2005 as Group Treasurer, following the acquisition of IBM's personal computer business. He had spent four years as IBM's Asia/Pacific treasurer, in Singapore, and was their Director of Global Treasury Operations in New York. Mr. Glendinning is a fellow of the ACCA, and has a degree in French and Italian from Oxford University. He has been president of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (Singapore) since June 2010 - a position he also held from 1999 to 2003.

Mick started his career as an auditor and consultant with KPMG, and is a licensed CPA in the State of Florida. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from Georgetown University and an MBA with scholarship from the University of Chicago.

  • Dr. Jeevan Perera is a Senior Engineer at NASA, Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. He is currently working on a NASA demonstration lander project called Morpheus that will pave the way for future exploration missions. He has been the risk manager for several key manned space programs including the International Space Station, Orion Spacecraft and others. Orion was NASA's proposed new spacecraft to replace the Space Shuttle, service the International Space Station, then return astronauts to the moon and eventually mount expeditions to Mars. Now Orion is being realigned as a mulipurpose crew vehicle to fit within NASA's new exploration initiatives. In his previous position within Orion, he shared associated responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Orion Project's business and project planning roles including overall management and assessment of project budgets, procurement, contracts and assessment functions (including risk management), configuration management, information technology, schedules, and the development of management plans and processes. Formerly as the International Space Station, Johnson Space Center, and then Orion Project Risk Manager, he designed, developed, implemented and improved the agency's risk management processes through a phased, systematic approach setting the standard for NASA's risk practice. Prior to his work in risk management, he has worked in different technical fields in support of many NASA programs and projects. These duties have included management responsibility for versions of the primary and back-up flight software for the Space Shuttle and development responsibility for other software used aboard Space Shuttle and International Space Station missions. Dr Perera has been with NASA for over 22 years and has both a Jurisprudence Doctorate (law) and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering.

  • Hong Zhang joined INSEAD as an Assistant Professor of Finance in 2004, and had been visiting CKGSB (Beijing) and Yale School of Management (U.S.) over the last two years. His research covers asset pricing, investments (especially related to mutual funds and hedge funds), and international finance. Hong's research paper, "Estimating the Dynamics of Mutual Fund Alphas and Betas," co-authored with Harry Mamaysky and Matt Spiegel, was cited by The New York Times (May 18, 2003) and Financial Advisor Magazine (June 2004) as to "have solved a big problem for mutual fund rating systems." The same paper had also been listed on SSRN's Top Ten download list for "AFA 2004 San Diego Meetings All Time Hits" and "European Finance Association Meetings (EFA) (Archive) All Time Hits." Hong's recent work examines short selling, financial crisis, hot money, as well as synthetic operations in the financial intermediary. His research is published in top finance journals such as the Review of Financial Studies and the Review of Finance. Hong received his PhD in Finance from Yale School of Management in December 2004. Prior to studying finance, he studied physics in New York University and Fudan University and had won a national gold medal at 8th Chinese Physics Olympics.
